Pull Up! Pull Up! Whoop! Whoop! Folks if you don't understand what this means by now someone will take a picture of the smoking hole in the ground and sent it to your family at a later date. How many more aural warnings are you going to ignore before you demand change! Your MEC is a complete, total, and costly dysfunctional disgrace to this entire pilot group.and it is taking you straight into that cloud covered mountain top at supersonic speed. Kevin Gillespie is speaking the truth when he discloses that: "There continues to be an effort on the MEC to reach consensus, but it is now almost always rejected with a roll call vote, the roll call sometimes loathsomely referred to by members of the Roll Call Seven as pay back time. This behavior of contempt sends a strong and clear message; it is not about the issue, but rather immature or misguided behavior intent on revenge and/or resentment. It is not the US Airways pilot's best interest that is the overriding and primary issue, but rather personalities. It is not about teamwork and MEC/pilot unity, but rather control. It is not about leadership, but rather personal vendettas and deep-seated hatred towards our fellow pilots." Is this how you want your futures decided? I hope not! The year is only half over and this MEC has burned over $400,000 of YOUR money already.and accomplished what? Makes you scratch your head hoping for a positive answer, doesn't it. You are not alone. Unfortunately nothing of real or lasting value is going to emerge from this MEC until you, the Pilot Group, demand that they either stop acting like power drunk thugs and focus on issues or you immediately remove them from office. Period. It is my firm opinion that you need an MEC that is going to represent the needs of the pilot group not the personal vendettas of the Roll Call Seven. You have heard the warning...the stick is in your hands. Don't just sit there! Bob Nolan Chairman Council 135
